Hi! I’m Eduard Ezeanu, and I’m an Emotional Management Therapist and Communication Coach. Over the past 15+ years I have worked with people from over 20 countries on 5 continents, including young professionals, managers of all levels, entrepreneurs and millionaires.
I have a B.A. in Psychology, an M.A. in Cognitive Science, and another M.A. in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the most researched and best validated form of therapy for emotional problems. I am also certified in using the Life Style Inventory (LSI) and Group Style Inventory (GSI) psychometric instruments developed by Humans Synergistics.
My emotional management therapy and training programs focus on a range of emotions-related areas, including:
- Regulating negative emotions (e.g., anxiety, shame, anger, depression);
- Building positive attitudes (e.g., self-esteem, social confidence, optimism);
- Overcoming negative attitudes (e.g., perfectionism, avoidance, feeling inferior);
- Managing stress, increasing resilience and enhancing well-being.
For these programs, I draw knowledge and techniques from fields such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, evolutionary psychology and positive psychology, as well as my extended personal and professional experience.
My communication coaching and training programs focus on a range of communication and relationship skills, including:
- Conversation, connection and social interaction skills;
- Clear, constructive and assertive communication;
- Managing conflict, both at work and at home;
- Critical thinking, argumentation, persuasion and influence.
For these programs, I draw knowledge and techniques from fields such as social psychology, non-violent communication, cognitive psychology and social neuroscience, as well as my extended personal and professional experience.
Since many communication problems have underlying emotional causes, and many emotional issues create big problems in communication, I often find myself combining therapy and coaching when working with many of my clients.
In my work, I place very high value on using and on teaching people principles and techniques for personal transformation that have a solid scientific foundation, as well as a high level of practical applicability. Tangentially, I often discuss and debunk various pseudoscientific self-help methods.
I am also the author of a no-nonsense audio course called Conversation Confidence, which to date has been purchased by over 10,000 people from all over the world, and I regularly create content for Mind Architect, the most popular personal development podcast in Romania, which mixes psychology and neuroscience.
In my free time, I enjoy reading and listening to audiobooks (mostly nonfiction, especially psychology), travelling, dancing (I’m an avid salsa, bachata and west coast swing dancer), doing humanist activism, socializing, and having stimulating conversations with other people.
